OrthoGeorgia Back of the Week: Neico Sandifer, Junior WR, Rutland High School. Neico had 5 catches for 179 yards, and 4 touchdowns in his team’s 44-30 loss to ACE.

OrthoGeorgia Back of the Week: Jaylun Goodrum, Senior RB/DB, Central Fellowship Christian Academy. At his Free Safety position, Jaylun had 12 tackles(8solo-4assists), an interception pick 6 for 99 yards, a 50 yard fumble recovery return, and 2 pass breakups. At his RB position, he added 5 rushes for 98 yards, and 1 catch for 11 yards, in his team’s 42-14 win over Terrell Academy.

OrthoGeorgia Lineman of the Week: Zelin Pollard, Sophomore Linebacker, Howard High School. Zelin recorded 13 tackles(10 solo and 3 assists), 3 tackles for loss, 1 interception, and 1 touchdown in his team’s 35-16 loss to Griffin.

OrthoGeorgia Co-Back of the Week: Antone Johnson, Sophomore RB/CB, Tattnall Square Academy. Antone rushed 6 times for 102 yards and 1 touchdown. He also added a 10 yard reception in his team’s 41-13 win over Mount de Sales.

OrthoGeorgia Lineman of the Week: Jamarion Parker, Junior Nose Guard, Jones County High School. Jamarion had 8 tackles (6 solo, 2 assists), 2 tackles for loss, 1 sack, 1 forced fumble, and 4 QB hurries in his team’s 24-7 win over Dutchtown.

OrthoGeorgia Lineman of the Week: Carlton Jackson, Senior Defensive End, Northeast High School. Carlton totaled 12 tackles, 3 tackles for loss, 2 Quarterback sacks, 1 forced fumble and 3 Quarterback hurries in his team’s 49-16 win over Kendrick.

OrthoGeorgia Special Teams Player of the Week: Brayden Smith, Senior WR/KR, Tattnall Square Academy. Brayden had 3 kick returns totaling 141 yards. From his WR position he added 3 catches for 50 yards, he also had 2 rushes for 15 yards in his team’s 33-28 win over Stratford.

All you will need to do is, call Welch’s 24 hours in advance, 48 hours during the Holidays, and let them know when you will making your pick-up. They will have your Boston Butt ready for you to pick-up and enjoy. The tickets for this sale will be good from the day that you purchase, to January 31, 2023.

The proceeds benefit the Bobby Sanders Memorial Scholarship, awarded by the Macon Touchdown Club. Each year the Macon Touchdown Club awards these scholarships to high school seniors. Started in 1987, the Macon Touchdown Club has awarded over $382,000 in scholarships.

Macon Touchdown Club Spirit Nights at Glory Days Grill
Glory Days Grill in Macon will partner with the Macon Touchdown Club for three more Spirit Nights.
The nights will be:
Tuesday, October 4
Tuesday, November 8
Wednesday, November 9
The process will be, go to Glory Days Grill on these nights, and have dinner like you would normally have, then turn in your receipt at the Macon Touchdown Club table. The receipts will be added up, and Glory Days Grill will make a contribution to the Macon Touchdown Club.

This is a great opportunity to help the Macon Touchdown Club, and enjoy a nice meal with friends and family.

OrthoGeorgia Back of the Week: Jahkari Williams, Junior QB, First Presbyterian Day School. Jahkari rushed 25 times for 231 yards and 2 touchdowns. He also completed 8 of 14 passing for 88 yards, totaling 319 yards on the night in his team’s 35-28 loss to Mt. Pisgah.

OrthoGeorgia Lineman of the Week: Caleb Heard, Senior Defensive End, Central High School. Caleb accounted for 8 tackles, 3 tackles for loss, 2 sacks, 2 forced fumbles, a fumble recovery and a touchdown in his team’s 27-21 win over Kendrick.

OrthoGeorgia Special Teams Player of the Week: Stebin Horne, Sophomore Kicker, Stratford Academy. With time expiring, Stebin hit a 47-yard game winning field goal to secure his team’s 37-34 road win over Brookstone.

OrthoGeorgia Special Teams Player of the Week: Jordan Green, Junior KR/WR/DB, Rutland High School. Jordan’s 90 yard kickoff return for a TD proved to be the winning score in his teams 26-19 win over Central. He also added 2 receiving touchdowns from his wide receiver position and had 7 tackles and an interception from his DB position.
