Macon Touchdown Club Spirit Nights at Glory Days Grill
Glory Days Grill in Macon will partner with the Macon Touchdown Club for three more Spirit Nights.
The nights will be:
Tuesday, October 4
Tuesday, November 8
Wednesday, November 9
The process will be, go to Glory Days Grill on these nights, and have dinner like you would normally have, then turn in your receipt at the Macon Touchdown Club table. The receipts will be added up, and Glory Days Grill will make a contribution to the Macon Touchdown Club.

This is a great opportunity to help the Macon Touchdown Club, and enjoy a nice meal with friends and family.

The Macon Touchdown Club, OrthoGeorgia Players of the Week, for the Week of September 23rd

OrthoGeorgia Back of the Week: Jahkari Williams, Junior QB, First Presbyterian Day School. Jahkari rushed 25 times for 231 yards and 2 touchdowns. He also completed 8 of 14 passing for 88 yards, totaling 319 yards on the night in his team’s 35-28 loss to Mt. Pisgah.

OrthoGeorgia Lineman of the Week: Caleb Heard, Senior Defensive End, Central High School. Caleb accounted for 8 tackles, 3 tackles for loss, 2 sacks, 2 forced fumbles, a fumble recovery and a touchdown in his team’s 27-21 win over Kendrick.

OrthoGeorgia Special Teams Player of the Week: Stebin Horne, Sophomore Kicker, Stratford Academy. With time expiring, Stebin hit a 47-yard game winning field goal to secure his team’s 37-34 road win over Brookstone.

The Macon Touchdown Club, OrthoGeorgia Players of the Week, for the Week of September 16th

OrthoGeorgia Back of the Week: Nick Woodford, Sophomore RB, Northeast High School. Nick rushed 27 times for 257 yards and 4 touchdowns. He also added 4 receptions for 79 yards and 1 touchdown in his team’s 47-21 win over ACE.

OrthoGeorgia Lineman of the Week: Rinaldo Callaway, Freshman DE, Southwest High School. Rinaldo accounted for 6 tackles, plus 3 tackles for loss in his team’s 61-0 win over Jordan.

OrthoGeorgia Special Teams Player of the Week: Jordan Green, Junior KR/WR/DB, Rutland High School. Jordan’s 90 yard kickoff return for a TD proved to be the winning score in his teams 26-19 win over Central. He also added 2 receiving touchdowns from his wide receiver position and had 7 tackles and an interception from his DB position.

The Macon Touchdown Club, OrthoGeorgia Players of the Week, for the Week of September 9th

OrthoGeorgia Back of the Week: James Neville, Freshman QB, Westside High School. James completed 12 of 16 passes for 250 yards and 4 touchdowns in his team’s 51-7 win over previously unbeaten Rutland.

OrthoGeorgia Co-Lineman of the Week: Ethan Ellington, Junior LB, Howard High School. Ethan accounted for 12 tackles (7 solo, 5 assists) 2 tackles for loss and a Safety in his team’s 16-7 win over Harris County.

OrthoGeorgia Co-Lineman of the Week: Carlton Jackson, Senior DE, Northeast High School. Carlton had 15 tackles (8 solo, 7 assists) 4 tackles for loss and 3 sacks in his team’s 26-8 win over Carver-Columbus.

The Macon Touchdown Club, OrthoGeorgia Players of the Week, for the Week of September 2nd

OrthoGeorgia Co-Back of the Week: Nick Woodford, Sophomore RB, Northeast High School. Nick rushed 24 times for 193 yards and 3 touchdowns in his team’s 28-27 loss to No.1 Ranked (2A) Fitzgerald.

OrthoGeorgia Co-Back of the Week: Brice Whitley, Sophomore WR/DB/R, ACE. Brice had 4 receptions for 101 yards and 2 touchdowns at WR. From his DB position, he accounted for 4 tackles, 4 pass break ups and a 50 yd interception return for a touchdown. On Special Teams he totaled 157 return yards, including a 75 yard kickoff return for a touchdown. On the night, he accounted for 267 all purpose yards and 4 touchdowns in his team’s 63-22 win over Pataula Charter Academy.

OrthoGeorgia Lineman of the Week: Demario Wilmore, Senior OLB, Tattnall Square Academy. Demario accounted for 12 tackles (8 solo and 4 assists), 3 tackles for loss and a forced fumble in team’s 64-37 win over Athens Christian.

OrthoGeorgia Back of the Week: Javious Bond, Senior RB/WR/DB/KR, Jones County High School. Javious rushed 12 times for 149 yards and 2 touchdowns. He also had 2 receptions for 92 yards and a touchdown. On the night, Javious totaled 241 yards and 3 touchdowns in his team’s 35-14 win over 6A Dacula.

OrthoGeorgia Lineman of the Week: Zelin Pollard, Sophomore LB, Howard High School. Zelin totaled 11 tackles (8 solo and 3 assists), 3 tackles for loss, an interception, and a safety in his team’s 46-19 win over Central.

OrthoGeorgia Special Teams Player of the Week: Brayden Smith, Senior WR/KR, Tattnall Square Academy. Brayden had 2 kickoff returns for 143 yards and a touchdown. His Kickoff returns include one of 47 yards and another for 96 yards and a touchdown. He also had 2 punt returns for 42 yards. From his WR position he added 5 receptions for 110 yards and a touchdown. On the night he had 295 all purpose yards in his team’s 27-23 win over St. Anne Pacelli.

The Macon Touchdown Club, OrthoGeorgia Players of the Week, for the Week of August 19th

OrthoGeorgia Co-Back of the Week: Fernando Washington, Senior RB/DB, Mount de Sales Academy. Fernando rushed 18 times for 272 yards and 2 touchdowns. He also threw for a TD. On Defense he accounted for 3 tackles, 1 forced fumble and a fumble recovery in his team’s 26-12 win over Strong Rock.

OrthoGeorgia Co-Back of the Week: Aaron Davis, Junior RB, ACE. Aaron had 16 rushes for 232 yards and 5 touchdowns. He also added 2 receptions for 31 yards in his team’s 70-53 win over Crawford County.

OrthoGeorgia Lineman of the Week: Chandler Harris, Junior LB, Jones County High School. Chandler recorded 13 total tackles (7 solo and 6 assists), a tackle for loss, 2 QB hurries and a fumble recovery in his team’s 27-21 win over Northside in the 7th edition of the Macon Touchdown Club Middle Georgia Kickoff Classic.

Macon Touchdown Club Middle Georgia Kick-off Classic on Saturday, August 20, 2022

The Macon Touchdown Club Middle Georgia Kick-off Classic will be held on Saturday, August 20th, at Mercer University’s Five Star Stadium. The first game starts at 4:00 p.m. The second game will start at 7:30 p.m., or 30 minutes after Game One is complete.
Game 1: Northside vs Jones County (Jones County will be the Home Team)
Game 2: Mary Persons vs Northeast (Northeast will be the Home Team)

There is parking on both sides of the stadium. The Home side is closer to I-75, and the Visitor side is opposite and has the Press Box.

Parking Map – There will be no fee for parking in campus lots.

Macon Touchdown Club Middle Georgia Kick-off Classic – August 20th

 

The 7th Annual Macon Touchdown Club Middle Georgia Kick-off Classic will be held on August 20th, at Mercer’s Five Star Stadium. We are excited to have Jones County vs. Northside in Game One starting at 4:00PM, and Northeast vs. Mary Persons in Game Two, scheduled for 7:30PM. Tickets are available at any of the four high schools involved, and will also be available on the day of the games, at the Ticket booths. Your ticket is good for both of these exciting games.

Update for July 31, 2022

Can you believe that August 1st is just a day away?

The Macon Bacon will start a best of 3 play-off series tonight in Savannah, against the Bananas, and will host Game 2 tomorrow night in Macon, at Luther Williams Field. Game starts at 7:00PM, and tickets are on sale now. Get your tickets in a section that has the big ceiling fans, for the most comfortable game viewing.

I hope that everyone is doing well, as we get closer and closer to our first meeting of the year on Monday night, September 12th.Coach Brian Bohannon, Head football coach at Kennesaw State University will be our first speaker of the year.
We should have four weeks of OrthoGeorgia Players of the Week to recognize at the first meeting.

We are only 20 days away from the Macon Touchdown Club Middle Georgia Kick-off Classic, held at Mercer University’s Five Star Stadium. It should be a great day of High school football, with Jones County taking on Northside, and Northeast taking on Mary Persons.
This will be the 7th year of the Macon Touchdown Club Middle Georgia Kick-off Classic, and has been a great event, and a great way to promote high school football, and raise funds for the Macon Touchdown Club Educational Foundation.

We are only 43 days away from our first Macon Touchdown Club meeting of the Fall of 2022. It should be a fun and exciting season for us.
Our Dues will remain at $250.00 for our 2022 Season. As always, this covers the 12 meetings in the Fall, and the Spring Jamboree in early March, with Coach Kirby Smart.
