The Macon Touchdown Club, OrthoGeorgia Players of the Week, for the Week of September 22nd

OrthoGeorgia Back of the Week for September 22nd: Reginald Glover, Sophomore QB, Northeast High School. Reginald threw for 119 yards and a touchdown, and had 5 rushes for 82 yards and 2 touchdowns, accounting for 201 all purpose yards in his team’s 48-6 win over Southwest.

 

OrthoGeorgia Lineman of the Week for September 22nd: Brooks Garner, Junior Linebacker, Stratford Academy. Brooks accounted for 14 tackles on the night in his team’s 20-14 loss against Brookstone.

The Macon Touchdown Club, OrthoGeorgia Players of the Week, for the Week of September 15th

OrthoGeorgia Back of the Week for September 15th: Nick Woodford, Junior RB, Northeast High School. Nick rushed 28 times for 310 yards and 5 touchdowns in his team’s 52-26 win over previously unbeaten ACE.

 

OrthoGeorgia Lineman of the Week for September 15th: Ben Barton, Senior OL/DL, FPD. Ben recorded 9 pancake blocks, graded out at 95% on the offensive line, and accounted for 2 tackles on defense in his team’s 28-14 win over Pinewood.

 

OrthoGeorgia Lineman of the Week for September 15th: Nikee Walker, Junior LB/TE, Central High School. On Defense, Nikee recorded 9.5 tackles , 1 Forced Fumble, while grading out at 91%, he also added 1 Kickoff return for 23 yards in his team’s 41-20 loss against Rutland.

The Macon Touchdown Club, OrthoGeorgia Players of the Week, for the Week of September 8th

OrthoGeorgia Back of the Week for September 8th: Kaleb Scarbary, Senior QB, Academy for Classical Education (ACE). Kaleb completed 13 of 15 passing for 275 yards and 6 touchdowns in his team’s 54-0 win over Jordan.

OrthoGeorgia Lineman of the Week for September 8th: Zelin Pollard, Junior Linebacker, Howard High School. Zelin accounted for 15 solo tackles, 2 assists (17 total) and a tackle for loss in his team’s 27-19 loss to Harris County.

OrthoGeorgia Special Teams Player of the Week for September 8th: Dakota Bond, Freshman Punter/Kicker/LB, Rutland High School. Dakota had 6 punts on the night averaging 47 yards per kick and 0 return yards in his team’s 49-32 loss to Westside.

The Macon Touchdown Club, OrthoGeorgia Players of the Week, for the Week of September 1st

OrthoGeorgia Back of the Week for September 1st: Chase Dupree, Sophomore QB, Southwest High School. Chase went 15-23 passing for 405 yards and 3 touchdowns, and also added a rushing touchdown in his team’s 54-7 win over Pike County.

OrthoGeorgia Back of the Week for September 1st: Nick Woodford, Junior RB, Northeast High School. Nick rushed 22 times for 226 yards and 2 touchdowns, and also completed a 15 yard pass for a touchdown in his team’s 27-20 road win over Number 1 ranked Fitzgerald. The win marked the Raiders first win over a number one ranked team in school history.

OrthoGeorgia Lineman of the Week for September 1st: Christian Hill, Junior LB/FB, Southwest High School. From his Linebacker position, Christian recorded 15 tackles and added a pass deflection in his team’s 54-7 win over Pike County. He also added 2 pancake blocks from his FB position on the night.

OrthoGeorgia Special Teams Player of the Week for September 1st: Tony Mathis, Senior DB, Westside High School. Tony blocked 2 punts on the night, both returned for touchdowns in his team’s 26-6 win over Morrow.

The Macon Touchdown Club, OrthoGeorgia Players of the Week, for the Week of August 25th

OrthoGeorgia Back of the Week for August 25th: Antone Johnson, Junior Running Back/Safety, Tattnall Square Academy. Antone rushed 15 times for 277 yards and 4 TD’s. He also added 2 receptions for 36 yards, and completed 1 of 2 pass attempts for an additional 19 yards. Offensively he totaled 332 all-purpose yards. From his Safety position, he contributed with 8 tackles on defense(4 solo-4 assists) in his team’s 50-35 loss to defending 4A State Champion St. Anne-Pacelli.

OrthoGeorgia Lineman of the Week for August 25th: Brady Lincoln, Junior Linebacker, FPD. Brady accounted for 11 tackles, 4 assists(15 total) and 1 interception in his team’s 28-7 loss to Park Lane Academy (MS).

OrthoGeorgia Special Teams Player of the Week for August 25th: Christian Spielman, Senior Wingback/Strong Safety/KR, Central Fellowship Christian Academy. Christian totaled 151 in return yards including a 99-yard kickoff return for a touchdown in his team’s 20-18 win over SW Georgia Academy.

The Macon Touchdown Club, OrthoGeorgia Players of the Week, for the Week of August 18th

OrthoGeorgia Back of the Week for August 18th: Marquise Lattner, Senior QB, Rutland High School. Marquise went 8-15 passing for 102 YDS and a TD. He also rushed 17 times for 116 YDS and a TD. His all-purpose yards totaled 218 YDS and 2 TDS in his team’s 26-6 win over Towers.

OrthoGeorgia Lineman of the Week for August 18th: Ched Smith, Senior Linebacker, Jones County High School. Ched accounted for 11 tackles, 5 assists(totaling 16), he also added a tackle for loss and a forced fumble. Ched played every defensive snap his team’s 33-21 loss to Northside (WR) at the Macon Touchdown Club Middle Georgia Kickoff Classic.

OrthoGeorgia Special Teams Player of the Week for August 18th: Garrett Roberts, Senior Kicker, Howard High School. Garrett was 6 for 6 on his Pat’s and added 2 kickoffs for touchbacks in his team’s 42-6 win over Southwest High School.
